Campus Involvement
Building community, developing leadership, and making an impact at the University of Cincinnati
IEEE at UC
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest technical professional society with over 320,000 members. As a member of the UC student branch, I participate in professional development events, technical workshops, mock interviews, and networking opportunities that enhance my engineering skills and connect me with industry professionals.
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at UC
ACM@UC is the University of Cincinnati's premier computer science and programming community. We host talks, workshops, office hours, social events, and hackathons including RevolutionUC. As an ACM member, I engage with cutting-edge technology topics, collaborate on coding projects, and connect with fellow computing enthusiasts.
CEAS Tribunal
The Engineering and Applied Science Tribunal represents students of the College of Engineering and Applied Science on all relevant issues, specifically with curriculum, academic and professional standards, and university computing.
CubeCats (CATiSE)
UC CubeCats is dedicated to the education of members through the design, construction, and launch of CubeSats - small satellites developed by universities worldwide. This hands-on experience in aerospace engineering allows me to work on real space technology and contribute to UC's presence in the satellite industry.
International Partners and Leaders (IPALs)
IPALs is a student group sponsored by UC International, bringing together international and domestic students to build a diverse community.I get to attend cultural events, social gatherings, and foster cross-cultural understanding and friendship.
UC AI
As part of the University of Cincinnati’s commitment to becoming a beacon of AI excellence, the UC AI Club provides a formal framework for student involvement in the field. Rather than focusing on fleeting trends, the club aligns itself with institutional efforts to integrate AI into research and community impact. It stands as a resident resource for students to understand the ethical and transformative power of AI in a professional, higher-education context.
Aamhi Marathi Student Association
Aamhi Marathi Student Association fosters a sense of community among Marathi-speaking students at UC. We celebrate cultural events like Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi, organize workshops on traditional Marathi arts and cooking, and create a supportive environment for cultural enrichment. Through this organization, I help promote diversity and inclusion while maintaining connections to my cultural heritage.
